Food, it nourishes and provides energy. While also, affecting mood and emotions. 

Thus, the saying. - "junk in, junk out" 

Exercise is the same way. Improving the muscular system with fitness has a mood enhancing, attitude improving effect. 

Not only that, exercise increases confidence and thought processes.
